    Excellent Design

The design of this plate carrier bag is outstanding and well thought of. It has several individual compartments for storage, a large Velcro front plate for placard style items to attach and large pouch for a hydration bladder

    Multicam Recondite Rear Bag

The Recondite bag is a pretty awesome pack to add to a PC or a large backpack. I mounted mine to my Ferro slickster and it's damn near the perfect size. It's got more pockets then I know what to do with, but I'll at least run hydration. Also the ability to integrate their buildable placards to the Velcro section is pretty awesome. Well done guys! I'm stoked to put it to work at the range and wherever else it's needed.

    Recondite Rear Bag

Just received my bag today and it's very well built just like all other Defense Mechanisms products I own. Was an easy install into my MEPC and the ranger green color is perfect. However I gave the bag 4 stars ONLY based on the zipper pulls that were sent on the version of my bag. Instead I got laser cut pull tabs, but the tags are oriented in a way that when you pull the zipper, you're barely holding onto the tab. It's a little hard with gloves on and the pull tabs have very little thickness and tactile feel to them. Don't let this persuade you from picking up this bag. It's still well made, fits great, and I'm sure will suit whatever job you throw at it just fine!

    Back pack

Great pack but what would make it 5 stars in my book if like the flat pack it could compress it. The quality of the pack is on point plenty of space for most of it but def could be more spaces for a med pack or for breaching good but again more space is better

    Back pack

Good quality pack like it almost better than the Haylie stratic flat pack 1.0 and 2.0 only thing that would make this back better is being able to make it bigger or smaller. Pockets inside are an amazing quality will probably be maki g this pack my medical pack or my range day bag. But other than that good product. Like I said ability to be able to compress and make it bigger at the price I payed or even a little more I would pay. Great job guys Cpl Snyder Jr. R.w Usmc

Excellent product. Internal compartments are neatly arranged to keep gear organized. I like the full clamshell opening and I am able to secure a breaching tool down the centerline. It is large enough to fit a recon scout robot with remote, but not big and bulky. I have not used the adaptable placard feature. It fits everything I need without it.

    Rear Bag

I’ve owned a few Haley strategic rear bags and I was hesitant on placing my order through defense mechanisms however Ive never been more satisfied. It’s obviously very well thought out. Compartments are everything that you would want as far as accessibility and storage and overall the quality is extremely nice. As far as size goes it’s almost identical in size to Haley strategic’s rear bag but gives you the option to use four molle attachments instead of just the two and I can definitely see myself buying more of these to replace my current Haley strategic bags.

I'm glad that I ordered this along with my carrier, it fits perfectly and give you a great capacity for storage, it wouldn't make sense not to have one.

The bag is well thought out and fits fairly close to the rear bag. A gusset might be a good idea for future iterations of this product to trim it down as much as possible. Like all DM products it is first rate construction and well designed.

I would have like to know what size hydration bladder is the max size and a brand recommendation.
