I’ve ran larger backpacks over my plate carrier for larping of course and shooting in the wilderness. This definitely is worth the cost to reduce weight and clean up straps. The biggest con is having the molle system. Working with a team it’s not a big deal asking a buddy to access something from your pack. I like having the ability to access the pack without removing my carrier so I picked up the strap kit that’s sold separately. Kind of wish it was sold together at a bundle and slightly lower cost because I didn’t think about accessing it until I started playing around with it. As always DM quality impresses though and I plan to put this through the wringer (as much as a civ can). Planning on picking up another to run dedicated with a chest rig but the buckle strap system could potentially allow you to use it modularly across multiple rigs/carriers.

    Recondite Bag

I have one in Multicam attached to my FC Slickster. Fits really nice and allows a lot of organization. I'll probably just end up stuffing it with Skittles and Twinkies or something. I also have a ranger green one with the strap kit and a hydration blatter in it. The quality of these bags are awesome. The organization is great. I like that you can add their placard system to the top loop section, thats pretty genius. Very end user friendly. I'm going to end up doing the chest rig attachment on the RG one and use it for hiking/fishing/bow hunting. Really awesome bags, no bad things to say about it. I think it would be cool to see a loop lined version offered for ultimate modularity someday. Other then that, 5 starts for a great American made product by great Americans. Thanks DM!

The pack is constructed very well, it has enough space for my needs while being compact, and it compresses decently when wearing a ruck.
