Cummerbund for Secure Fit

The 7-inch Hybrid MOLLE cummerbund ensures a secure and snug fit, providing optimal comfort and stability. It enables users to tailor the plate carrier to their body shape, enhancing overall wearability. Available in ROC Buckles or FIRSTSPEAR® TUBES™.

Cummerbund Flap

This flap on the APOC serves as an additional layer of security for the cummerbund. It helps keep the cummerbund in place, ensuring a snug and stable fit for the wearer. This added feature prevents the cummerbund from shifting and peeling during movement, enhancing overall comfort and safety.

Attachments

Defense Mechanisms' MOLLE Cummerbund offers enhanced modularity with the option of ROC Buckles or FirstSpear® Tube Buckles. The ROC Buckles attach and release in a singular direction, which simplifies the operation for consistent performance. FirstSpear® Tube Buckles boast a bi-directional mechanism, allowing them to attach and release from either direction for adaptive functionality. Both systems maintain a focus on rapid and secure attachment, with quick-release features suitable for the diverse requirements of field operations.

Replaceable Belly Band

The APOC includes a replaceable belly band, offering additional support and security. The belly band pass-through further enhances the user experience, allowing a wide range of adjustments for a more customized and secure fit.

Placard Keeper

Built-in placard keeper integrates with Defense Mechanisms placards to ensure placards can’t peel away during a physical altercation.

The placard keeper can be stowed flat for use with legacy systems.

Badge Holder

APOC is compatible with pin-on badges and includes an adapter for velcro badges.

Cable Pass through

The cable pass-through on the APOC is a specialized design feature intended for the convenient routing of cables, wires, or tubes. This pass-through allows for seamless management of communication equipment or other devices, facilitating a streamlined and efficient setup.

Admin Pocket

The admin pocket on the APOC is a compact, easily accessible compartment located on the front, designed for storing essential administrative tools, documents, or accessories. It helps users keep important items within quick reach.

Enhanced Webbing

Our design features enhanced webbing that provides unparalleled versatility for placard adjustments and Push-to-Talk (PTT) management. This additional webbing also seamlessly integrates with both our breaching lanyard and the Recondite Strap kit, enabling easy self-access and rapid disconnection capabilities when used with the APOC.

Shoulder Straps

Equipped with adjustable extended shoulder straps, the plate bag on our plate carrier ensures both comfort and adaptability for wearers of all sizes. These straps feature a dual-purpose design, allowing for efficient cable pass-through and the ability to tuck away excess strap material into the plate bag. This ensures a streamlined, snag-free profile that's ideal for mission-critical operations.

Removable QASM Buckles

Removable QASM buckles on the APOC users to quickly and easily attach or detach gear and accessories as needed. These buckles offer a convenient and customizable way for users to secure their Placard and accessories to the APOC, making it adaptable for various missions and load-outs without the need for complex reconfigurations.

Loop Field

Our carrier is engineered for adaptability, featuring a laser-cut loop field on the front for effortless attachment of EUD boards, morale patches, or identifiers. The rear comes equipped with a standard MOLLE loop field, adding another layer of customization. Both loop fields are crafted for a secure fit with hook-fastened patches, ensuring quick and tailored identification for any agency requirements.

MOLLE Placard (Optional)

For users who require legacy mounting solutions the MOLLE Placard is available as an optional add-on. This feature enables users to attach modular pouches and accessories based on their unique requirements and is compatible with the built-in placard keeper. (This placard is not compatible with Defense Mechanisms placard expansion items or placard wraps)

  • Carrier Size Aligns with Plate Size: Your shirt or body size doesn't determine the carrier size.
  • Plate Variability: Keep in mind that plate dimensions can differ by ±1" between manufacturers.
  • Max Thickness: Our plate bags accommodate hard plates up to 1.2" thick.

  • Avoid Oversizing: Oversizing can compromise your shooting stance and mobility due to extra weight.
  • Ideal Placement: The plate bag should align from your jugular notch to your belly button vertically, and from nipple to nipple horizontally.
